High Point Market Fall 2016

High Point Market Fall 2016

October always means high times for client High Point Market (organizer of the world's largest home furnishings trade show), as well as for our exhibitor clients, including Nathan Anthony Furniture, Bolier & Co. and Decca Home.

In a fun, synergistic twist, the Market's long-running Style Spotter program helps the home furnishings brands gain exposure for their best product introductions of the season.

We were especially impressed with interior designer and blogger Arianne Bellizaire of Inspired to Style, who was a powerhouse when it came to covering the show (measuring over 11 million square feet). And Courtney Lake of Courtney Out Loud is not only a talented designer, he's ready for his 15 minutes as a stand-up comedian.

I can't remember when we've all laughed, or worked, so hard.

What's New in NYC

What's New in NYC

The annual - and lively - 'What’s New, What’s Next' event at 200 Lexington Ave. in the New York Design Center is certainly a design lover's destination, and how fun for our first encounter of the day to be with a fabulous DESIRON sofa covered in Ultrasuede®, the luxury high performance fabric from our longtime client.

Next stop was the 5th floor, where client Bolier & Co., a division of Decca Home, has its showroom, and also where esteemed designer Dakota Jackson was on hand to celebrate his elegant new collection called Cosmopolitan by Dakota Jackson.

Designers and friends Michelle Workman, Corey Damen Jenkins, the gang from Steelyard and Interior Design magazine editor Mark McMenamin were among those who stopped in for visits.

In case you were wondering, yes; the iconic Cosmopolitan Martini was served. Cheers!
